Holiday Pot-Luck & New Member Induction 2023

Our fellow Dames from Wollersheim Winery, Julie Coquard and Celine Coquard-Lenerz, welcomed new members at our annual holiday potluck. The wines were exceptional (of course they were!) and even better, the food and friendship were priceless.

A Day at Meadowlark Farms

Dames gathered at Meadowlark Organics Farm and Mill to learn about organic grains, milling and processing from the experts, owners and culinary leaders, John and Halee Wepking. The two met while cooking at Prune, one of New York’s most beloved restaurants. Today their Ridgeway operation, just outside Madison, produces some of the area’s finest organic grains and grain products for retail and foodservice operations.

New Member Induction 2022

Rallying post-pandemic, the members of Greater Madison Chapter gathered for a holiday feast to reconnect and recommit to LDEI.

Aperitivo in the Garden Fundraiser 2024

Greater Madison Dames hosted a private garden party last Fall to raise funds for REAP Food Group. The elevated pre-dinner event featured drinks and appetizers designed and delivered by our local Dames. OnMilwaukee writer, food reporter and local author, Lori Fredrich, signed and sold copies of her newest book Wisconsin Field to Fork to help raise funds for REAP. Tickets, book sales and an online auction raised $5,000 for REAP Food Group.

A Day at Door Creek Orchard

Coming off the pandemic, Greater Madison Dames worked hard to reconnect and reinvest in each others’ businesses and passions. Door Creek Orchard owner, Dame Liz Griffith, opened her orchards to sample and savor what the Fall bounty had produced.
